          Call for Presentation

          “M2M Impacts on SDP Evolution”

We would like to announce the 6th Workshop (Fachgespraech) on Next Generation Service Delivery Platforms "M2M Impacts on SDP Evolution" on April 4, 2012 at Fraunhofer FOKUS, Berlin, Germany of the GI/ITG specialist group on Communications and Distributed Systems "Kommunikation und Verteilte Systeme (KuVS)".

          Please kindly mark your calendars.

It is the objective of this series of workshops to support intense discussions among researchers from industry and academia in this challenging area gluing together applications and different network types. The foundation will be provided by presentations covering latest research results selected from submitted proposals and by invited talks. After five successful workshops in Berlin (Nov. 2009, organized by Fraunhofer FOKUS; Oct. 2010; organized by Deutsche Telekom), Munich (May 2010; organized by Telefonica O2) ,Vienna (April 2011; organized by University of Vienna and Telecom Austria) and Munich (October 2011; organized by DOCOMO Euro Labs), the upcoming sixth meeting will be hosted by Fraunhofer FOKUS, in Berlin, Germany.

Participants, interested to present their research results at this meeting are asked to submit their 1-2 page short paper (including references) of their intended presentation, as well as a 5-10 lines abstract for the Web.

          For more details see www.kuvs-ngsdp.org

As the M2M industry demand is forecasted to grow rapidly in the following years due to its broad range of services and applications impacting our daily lives, and considering the challenges that encompass its implantations, we focus in this workshop on the impact of Machine to Machine technology on the evolution of Service Delivery Platforms.
